The 200 Foot Cascade is a Remote Natural Wonder

Peewee Falls, located near Metaline Falls, WA, is a stunning 200-foot waterfall that plunges into the Pend Oreille River. Accessible primarily by boat, it offers a breathtaking view of the remote and rugged natural beauty of Northeast Washington. Access the river at nearby Forebay Campground at Boundary Dam. It’s a fairly short paddle out and around the corner to the falls. An alternate viewpoint can be found from the Peewee Falls Scenic Overlook, part of the Colville National Forest, on the east side of the river, providing another way to enjoy the falls’ dramatic cascade. Surrounded by forested landscapes and steep canyon walls, Peewee Falls is a bit hidden and off the beaten path, but so worth the effort.
