Residents and visitors enjoy the Colville National Forest and all of it’s outdoor offerings. Including wild huckleberries, camping, almost 500 miles of hiking trails, OHV trails, mountain biking, horse trails, lakes, rivers, and streams. The forest is also home to exciting wildlife such as moose, grizzly and black bears, cougars, bald eagles, elk, white-tail deer and a heck of a lot of wild turkeys. Nearby attractions include the Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge, 49 Degrees North Mountain Resort and the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.
The sprawling Colville National Forest remains an uncrowded and beautiful destination to experience the Great Outdoors all year long.
